Gymnastics is an Olympic sport that combines the technical skills of ballet and dance and strength of gymnastics, displaying floor routines (free hand) and routines with the use of apparatuses such as Rope, Hoop, Ball, Clubs, & Ribbon.

Classes in hip hop & ballet, are available for 9-13+ year olds at Melbourne's award-winning dance studio for kids and adults in Oakleigh. We provide strong foundations of dance and aim to broaden the love of dance in young children by exposing them to a broad and diverse range of styles and music.

Gymnastics is the most fascinating Olympic Sport. It combines the dynamics and flexibility of gymnastics with art and grace of ballet and self expression of a modern dance. It emphasizes on flexibility, agility, physical strength, grace and musicality.

At Infinity Gymnastics & Dance located in Melbourne's South East we strive to integrate all disciplines to perfect coordination, musicality, flexibility, strength, and stamina. We combine the grace and skills of classical ballet training, include various styles of dance, tap, lyrical jazz, modern, and contemporary.

Melbourne's Premier Gymnastics & Dance Studio For All Ages

Infinity Gymnastics and Dance in Melbourne originally began as a platform for Rhythmic Gymnastics training from Glen Iris, and has since developed into an inter-disciplinary program offering a range of classes including training in ballet, hip hop, lyrical jazz, modern, contemporary, stretching & flexibility. It is our belief that children under the age of five should be exposed to a learning environment that fosters their love of dance.

Evolving Little Bodies with Dance, Movements & Love

Our teachers are experienced in teaching young children and believe that, while bones and muscles are still developing, it is important not to over-stretch or push their bodies beyond their normal physical limits – which could result in injuries now or later in life. Instead, Infinity Gymnastics & Dance focuses on the many foundations of dance such as learning to balance and transferring weight from one leg to another, to jump quickly or move slowly.

Aiming to Broaden Their Musical Appreciation

We extend their spatial awareness by encouraging them to move across the room in different directions and heights, or travel around the room in different group formations. Our program also focuses on developing strong fine and gross motor skills. And of course we aim to broaden their musical appreciation. All of this is wrapped up in fun, age related and engaging themes which capture the children’s imagination.

Gymnastics & Dance School for Kids in Oakleigh

We are a gymnastics and dance school with a big heart. At Infinity, we believe kids deserve the very best in physical development opportunities and training. No matter what physical size or shape, gender or cultural differences all kids may be, at Infinity we embrace the diversity and provide an arena where each individual can flourish.

Perfect Environment where Kids can be Active & Learn

The recreational classes are structured so kids can learn at their own pace and find challenges appropriate to their physical, developmental stage. The classes provide platforms for self-expression, creative exploration, physical skill development and for the development of self-confidence and healthy minds. At Infinity, most of our classes are taught in an exhilarating environment with popular music as the backdrop. The music energizes and motivates the students to jump higher, move more articulately and teaches them rhythm, movement dynamics, and musicality.

Melbourne's Best Gymnastics & Dance Club for Kids

And let's face it...who doesn't like working out to cool music? At Infinity, we provide gymnastics, as well as a range of popular dance styles. In each class, the students develop skills in classes that are appealing and stimulating. Kids love to achieve “tricks,” so skill sheets are used to encourage and reward achievements.
